Casket Sprays

A casket spray is a large flower arrangement that is placed on top of the casket or coffin. They are usually the centrepiece, and sometimes the only floral arrangements at a funeral or memorial service.

Our fully compostable casket sprays are made on a lightweight wood base using seasonal British grown flowers. They can be wilder or more formal in design.

Traditional and Heart-Shaped Wreaths

Funeral wreaths are usually a circular design. Heart-shaped wreaths are also a popular alternative. They are often placed on top of the casket, at the grave, or in a significant location.

Our wreaths are made on a home-grown willow base or a wire frame, topped with sustainably-harvested British moss and seasonal flowers and foliage. They are fully compostable and we can work to your preferred colour palette all year round.

Casket Sheaths

Purple, white and yellow funeral flowers

An alternative to sprays, a casket sheath is a bouquet designed to lie flat either on the casket or around it. Our casket sheaths are filled with seasonal flowers, with stems wrapped in a compostable hydrated cloth, plus hessian and an optional ribbon.

Casket sheaths can be a more budget-friendly alternative to sprays.

Living Designs

By incorporating living plants and bulbs into our funeral sprays or wreaths, we can create more unique, unusual and varied designs. A living design is also a wonderful option if you would like to create a lasting memory by planting the flower in a garden or a pot after the day.

Shareable Designs

Shareable tributes are made up of flat-lying bouquets in one larger design. This means that, after the service, instead of leaving the flowers, family members and friends can take their own small memento home with them.

Alter Arrangements

We are also able to provide additional arrangements to be used at the church, crematorium or wake. These are available in different sizes and styles, and all maintain our commitment to seasonal, British-grown funeral flowers.

All our floristry work uses sustainable 'eco' techniques, and our designs use compostable materials and methods so that they won’t damage the natural environment or wildlife. They are perfect for those looking for a funeral with low environmental impact.

Say with flowers what you can’t say with words. Our sympathy flower bouquets are available for collection or delivery in West Cumbria. They are beautifully made with seasonal British flowers grown either at our own flower farm in Cumbria, or by other small growers in the UK.
