Autumn wedding planning
In 2022 we’re planning to add Sustainable Styling to our seasonal wedding flower offering. For those who don’t want to arrange their own venue decoration using our DIY buckets of flowers, we will have a simple range of arches, table centres and ceremony arrangements to beautify indoors and out. Our intention is to offer a sustainable alternative to what is generally available, that doesn’t compromise on beauty but contains only local and British flowers (those with the lowest carbon footprint and traceable provenance), no floral foam (a horrific micro plastic that lasts centuries) and uses an approach that reduces and reuses as much as possible.
As a small business this is possible by working with another Cumbrian grower-florist, who has similar passions and values; Francis at Clodhopper Blooms has a beautiful garden based business in Kirby Stephen and has trained Tallulah Rose Flower School based at Levens Hall Francis will bring her floristry skills, I will grow more flowers!! I’m so excited to work with Francis and expand what we do!
Earlier this week we spent the (only!) sunny day working on designs, and starting to organise our thoughts and ideas, and work out what I need to grow for next year!
Booking will open on the 1st November.
