Charlotte's Sunny Bright Bouquet

It rained and it rained and it rained but despite that we cut a deliciously sunny mix of brights for Charlotte and Stephen’s wedding.

We grow a range of flowers - annual and perennial, as well as foliages - on an acre with four polytunnels in order to have Cumbrian flowers * despite * the Cumbrian weather. And thank goodness for those covered crops because the wind and rain damaged sone of the flowers we’d planned to use …

We included cosmos, rudbeckia, zinnia and small dahlia, and because Charlotte requested a few ferns as a nod to her New Zealand heritage we used fronds of fern, alongside textural foliages and grasses to give it a really wild look.
