We've been nominated in the Cumbria Life Awards

Some of you must read my rambles because we’re delighted (and rather stunned!) to have been anonymously nominated for ‘Best Environmental Project’ in the Cumbria Life Readers’ Choice Awards.

Honestly thank you. Committed to sustainable flower production and floristry, we’re also passionate about wildlife and have invested in hedgerows, orchard and woodland, pond creation, and naturalizing meadows, and in the 5 years we’ve seen a dramatic change in the biodiversity of the little pocket of Cumbria in our care.

That said, the way I see it we need all the environmental initiatives and positive action we can collectively muster at the moment. Is there a ‘best’ one? I think we’re all vital… and watching the butterflies dance over the flowers this morning, or listening to the crickets chirping in the long grass on a sunny day… thats the win for me.
