A Barn in the Fells Wedding

Where to start with last week? It was such a great week with so many lovely flowery moments!

This is Emma’s Bouquet for her wedding to Tim at Barn in the Fells - a fantastic Lakeland barn wedding venue with lovely owners and team. We love it here; charmingly rustic nestled in the heart of the lake district between Rydal water and Lake Windermere with massive fell views. A great place for a DIY decor, our flowers and a big party!

We used our Cumbrian flowers to create this dainty, wild bouquet with our roses, astilbe, achillea, cosmos, Icelandic poppies and salvia, amongst other textural loveliness. We bought in some peonies from Lincolnshire for the DIY buckets, as our dahlias are struggling in the rain and our roses are between flushes, but otherwise we’ve plenty of flowers and choice.
